Terms of use
Effective date: 8 October 2026
Important: These public terms describe the product at a high level. A university’s signed service agreement and its published policies govern institutional deployments where they differ. They do not replace legal advice or the notices shown by your university.
1. About StudyShare
StudyShare Copilot provides university learning and administration workspaces that help users find institutional information, work with academic resources and organise study tasks. Features depend on the university’s configuration, access rules and connected services.
2. Your account and access
Use the sign-in method enabled for your role and institution. Keep your credentials private, provide accurate account details and tell your university administrator if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. Administrators manage access for their institution; the StudyShare operator manages developer-console access.
3. Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and in line with your university’s policies. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, upload material you are not permitted to use, or use the service to harm others or infringe their rights.
4. AI-generated information
AI responses can be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. Check important academic, administrative, financial and safety-related information against the cited source or with the responsible university office. StudyShare does not make academic decisions, award grades or replace professional advice.
5. University content and personal work
Your university remains responsible for its institutional resources and access policies. You remain responsible for material you submit and for reviewing generated work before relying on or sharing it. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details or other sensitive information unless the relevant university feature explicitly requests it.
6. Availability and changes
Features may change as the product is maintained and improved. Universities may enable, limit or disable features, integrations and account access. We aim to keep the service reliable but cannot promise uninterrupted availability.
7. Privacy and questions
Personal-data handling is described in the privacy notice and in your university’s own notices. For account, academic or institutional questions, contact your university. For product enquiries, use the contact form.
